In the Aftermath of World War II

Irene Perbal, from the Rotary Club of Jackson, will speak to us about the aftermath of WWWII. Irene grew up in Holland, which came under Nazi rule during WWII. Her father and others in her family were in the Resistance, and her father was eventually captured and subsequently died in a prison camp.

Irene saw the horrors of the war first hand. One of her often repeated phrases is "we must never let this happen again."
